Photo challenge - Colorful

As I mentioned in my previous entry, I've started taking pictures again. I hoping that doing that during the day will keep my mind fresh to work on my books in the evening. Starting in August, I'm doing a 31 day photo challenge. I have a daily list of photo themes that I will try to achieve. To get me started, I've picked my own topics to shoot for the next three days. Today's theme was "colorful." Below is a photo of my Impatiens flowers in front of my porch.

New Book and New Photographs

I wanted to give an update on what's been going on with me. No, I don't have a new book coming out yet, but I am about to start on the final chapter of my next book, "Her Bluegrass Beau." Without going into details, because they could change in the editing process, this book takes place in Kentucky when Karri Taylor comes to Kentucky to sell her great-aunt's farm that she inherited. While staying in Kentucky, she has second thoughts about selling when she meets the handsome neighbor, Jake Duncan. I hope to have the book released in early 2017.

The next news is that I am going to start taking photos again. No, this will not take time away from my writing. I'll be setting up a schedule allotting time for both. Photography has always been a passion of mine since high school. It's more or less a stress reliever for me. Periodically, I'll post some photos here as I plan on taking part in some photo challenges. Until I post some new ones, here are a couple landscapes that I took some time ago.

This was taken just down the road from my house on one of my morning walks. It's best viewed large.

I took this one as I was driving home one evening. This is also be viewed large.

Check back later for more updates and photos.
