Progress? Well, maybe not.

If you follow me on social media, you know that I am working on adapting the screenplay I wrote, The Witch's Descendant, into a romantic fantasy. The premise of the story is Amber, a young woman with magical powers passed down from her ancestral witches, must learn how her powers as a healer will define who she is. She goes to the Appalachian Mountains in Kentucky to be trained by a healer witch. Along the way, she meets and falls in love with Julian, a male witch of chaos, who in many ways, alters how her life turns out.

I love this story so well that I want to expand it into a three book series bringing in members of their families in different locales.

The problem is that I can't seem to get the first book finished. I thought I was close on October 16. See photos below of my notes on the progress of book one. I was down to three notes, then I came up with more ideas. I'll get there, as long as my characters don't think of other things to do.

While I'm working on book 1 in the series, I keep thinking of more plot lines for books two and three and I haven't even started writing them yet. See photos below.

I'll be back at writing today, hopefully just writing and no more notes. Who am I kidding? Of course, I'll have more things for them to do. I came up with a new one while I was drinking my coffee this morning. Keep your fingers crossed for me to get this done. I really want to get it out into the world to share with others.

Successful Weekend

I had a great time at the Greater Clark County Schools Holiday Craft Fair. Once again, I sold out of one of my books, although I will admit I didn't have as many as I usually do. I forgot to re-order after my last event. I won't make that mistake again. I've already sent in my reorder for next time.

The GCCS Holiday Craft Fair is a wonderful event. The coordinators treat the vendors so well and we even got a little goody bag that included some snacks and it was greatly appreciated. This was my third time attending and I'll be back again next year.

A huge thanks to everyone that stopped by my table to talk or buy books. I loved talking to you all.

Holiday Craft Fair

Join me on October 18, 2025 at the Greater Clark County Holiday Craft Fair held at River Valley Middle School. I'll be there selling my mystery novels and a couple of my romance books.

This year, they're going to have live music that will keep the energy going, face painting for all the little and big kids, and a super fun kids’ Bingo adventure.

This will be my third year attending, and each year I've had such a great time. I look forward to seeing everyone again this year.
