"Eel's Reverence" by Marian Allen

Eel's ReverenceEel's Reverence by Marian Allen

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I loved Eel's Reverence by Marian Allen. She has a way with words and puts them to good use in this book. The characters were wonderful. My favorite thing about this book is the cover. Magnificent cover for a magnificent book. Good job, Marian. I highly recommend it.

  1. I'm going to make an obvious joke... Are we able to judge this book, by it's cover? I think the title is pretty cool too!

  3. Thank you, Carol and Rebecca! I've been getting all kinds of flack about the title AFTER the book was published. "Eeee! Who wants to read a book about eels?" I'm like, "Read the freakin' BLURB. The Eel is a place. There are true and corrupt priests in it. Eel's ... Reverence. Got it?" And then, out loud, I say, "Thank you so much for your input. I'll bear that in mind in the future." ~sigh~
